DIN582 Eye Nut
The DIN 582 lifting eye nut is a shouldered, or collared, type of lifting eye with metric threads. Lifting eye nuts are female threaded and are designed for use with a threaded shank. They are primarily used for permanent mounting to industrial machinery or equipment for lifting, rigging, or lashing, or as an anchor point for other rigging hardware. While the shoulder pattern provides greater stability at the base of the eye to accommodate angular loads, be sure to consult specifications for WLLs prior to conducting lifts as Eye Nuts are recommended primarily for zero degree, in-line lifts. WLLs are reduced significantly for non-axial loads.
